Why we don’t sell “fat burners” — and what to do instead

The short answer: they don't work the way the ads say they do. The long answer is about sleep, protein, and a boring truth nobody shares on Instagram.

Every few weeks a customer asks us why we don’t stock the bright orange bottle with the cartoon flame on it. Fair question. Here’s our honest answer.

The thermogenic math

A typical “fat burner” claims to boost your daily burn by 50–150 calories through caffeine and a couple of plant extracts. Even at the high end, that’s one slice of bread. It’s real, but it’s not the lever you think it is.

The levers that actually work

  • Sleep. Seven hours is not optional. Five hours doubles your hunger hormones.
  • Protein. 1.6–2.0 g per kg of bodyweight, spread across the day.
  • A breakfast you repeat. The goal is not variety. The goal is consistency.

We’ll stock caffeine. We’ll stock protein. We’ll stock greens. We won’t stock a shortcut that costs you $45 and returns you two slices of bread per week.
